Top Film & Television Apps on Android in Greece: Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the film and television app landscape on Android in Greece showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a breakdown of the top five apps in this category.

ERTFLIX, developed by NewMedia - EΡΤ, experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting with around 21K downloads in early July, the app saw a peak of approximately 47K by the end of the month. However, it faced a gradual decline in downloads, ending the quarter with about 3.6K weekly downloads. Active user numbers mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 44.5K, peaking at 82.9K, and settling around 30.1K by the end of September.

Disney+ from Disney exhibited a consistent revenue stream, starting the quarter with about $42.5K and peaking at approximately $58.1K in mid-September. Downloads showed a noticeable increase mid-quarter, with a significant rise to over 14K in the week of September 16. Meanwhile, active users fluctuated, peaking at around 77.8K in mid-September.

COSMOTE TV maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 2.5K and reaching up to 8K by late August. Active users showed a gradual increase, peaking at approximately 47K towards the end of September.

Greek TV saw a decline in downloads from nearly 5K in early July to around 2.9K by the end of the quarter. Despite the lack of active user data, the download trend indicates a decrease in user acquisition over the quarter.

Netflix observed a moderate download trend, with numbers ranging from 3.2K to 4.5K throughout the quarter. Active users started at 214.8K, experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 196.8K by the end of September.
